For about a year now, youth around the world have led the way by walking out of class and demanding accountability from our elected officials. Now, they’re calling on people of all ages to join them in the streets on Sep 20. We know that you care about climate change. Climate change is not just an environmental issue, nor a social justice issue, nor an economic issue – it’s all of those at once. It’s one of the biggest challenges humanity has ever faced, and one that will seriously impact the youth of today. We are going to have to work together to solve it.
Our communities, our planet, and our future depend on a climate movement that reaches all corners of this country. To change everything, it takes everyone — and with your help we can build a sustainable world for generations to come.
Join us at noon on Sep 20 at the Pittsburgh Climate Strike to stand with other concerned individuals who, like you, are worried about the future impacts of Climate Change. Together we can build coalitions that are strong enough to put pressure on governments and stand up to the fossil fuel industry.
And please forward this message to others you know–especially young people! We have to make it a top priority to give our time and money to create a healthy planet for the next generation and following generations.
